Black Hole
What is good about it:
The initial idea of the film I thought was good because I thought that it was very original and I had never seen anything like it before. The film also built tension but never resolved it until the very end. This kept me on the edge of my seat for near enough the entire film and when it was resolved it was resolved with a joke and it worked really well and resolved the film really well.
It almost had a moral to the story as well because at the end when the guy falls through the black hole and is stuck in the safe it is like the film is almost telling us that, if you steal things then you will get caught in the end.
What would attract the target audience:
To be put simply, a little thing of karma would attract the target audience because at the end the man gets what he deserves when he is caught because he was cheating and stealing. Also the whole dark lighting emits a dark and sinister feel to the film.

The target audience for this short film is hard to distinguish because it can really appeal to anyone because of the humour element to it but then again if you don't like or believe in karma then you may not like it no matter how humorous the film is. So really it is for people who like dark humour.
Strangers
What is good about it:
The fact that it builds the tension so well between the two characters on the train. They use techniques like making the set as dark as possible and setting it on a train makes them closed in and have nowhere to go. Then a common enemy get onto the train and then they realize that they must work together to get of the train without being hurt. So i think that there is something to learn from this short and think that it should be seen by society.
What would attract the target audience:
I think that the tension that builds between the two characters and the whole dark and mysterious setting of the film is enough to attract the targeted audience. But then the two characters quickly change their hate for each other into friendship when the common enemy get on the train. This change of personalities is extremely effective in getting rid of the tension but then building it up again.
What is the target audience:
I think that target audience would be everyone who likes dark set films and slight horror and thriller films. Also i think that people who are interested in political films and conflicts would be interested by this film short.

What is good about it:
What was good about this short was the humorous ending, all she had to do was what she meant by virgin then she may not have of had to explain it to her. But still I think that this is a fantastic film short and the twist at the end was amazing.
What would attract the target audience:
The awkward humor is the center piece that would attract the target audience and I think that this is a very clever way of pulling in their audience. Also this is a talk that all parents have with their children and so making a film about it but then having a twist on what she actually meant at the end just shows how humorous the talk can really be.
What is the target audience:
I think that the target audience would be people who like humour but when it is in awkward situations. I don't think that the target audience is as big of a range for the other shorts that i have picked but i still believe that a lot of people would like this short because everyone can relate to having receive and give the talk to someone.
